‘UNITY’ INDIA IMMERSION

APRIL 1 - 11 2025

We invite you to join us in the Sacred lands of India in April 2025 to immerse in the ancient teachings of the Yog-Vedantic tradition.

Being, the birthplace of this wisdom, India holds the purity of it’s essence. This invites us intimately into the state, practice, and experience of Yoga. As our beloved teacher shares, “this is where the veil is most thin.”

To journey and receive vision of what this land has to offer, is an ever deepening, ever expanding path.

This Immersion will be open to both men & women.

The ‘Unity, India Immersion’ will focus on the facets of life that come together to generate a state of Unity, the state of Yoga. We will explore Shiva and Shakti, the divine masculine and feminine; the forces of stillness & dynamism. By visiting their sacred temples, embodying them through practice and understanding through Yogic Philosophy, we find integration within our hearts.

The area we will visit is a living expression of the dance of Shiva and Shakti. The mountains here, known as Shiva’s dreadlocks, hold the sweet caress of the sacred Ganga River, the Divine Mother, as she flows through the land.

We will begin our travels in Rishikesh on the banks of the Ganga. From here, we will travel to Haridwar for the day, a potent city for pilgrims as it’s name beckons ‘Door to God’. Then onto Anand Lok, a beautiful retreat centre quietly nestled along the Ganga, where we will dive deep into practice, wisdom and nature for 5 days. We will emerge and travel higher into the Mountains for our final days, paying visits to Shiva and Shakti at some of their very powerful temples.

What is not included?

What if I have not been to India before?

This is a beautiful way to come to meet the sacred Mother India. She is always revealing greater depths and whether it is your first time or 108th, there is something new she is always there to teach us.

What is the difference between an immersion and a pilgrimage? How does this compare to your last journey?

The last pilgrimage was specifically over the dates of Navaratri, a festival honouring the divine mother and so the ten days were a journey up to many of her temples. Weaving practice and wisdom through those days. This upcoming immersion will be more of a deep dive into practice and wisdom, still visiting temples and engaging in sacred ceremony, but with a few less days of travelling around, to really ground into our practice in more of a ‘retreat style’ setting. The location we have chosen for these deeper days is itself placed in a sacred pilgrimage spot, right along the Ganga where you can bathe daily and connect to the potency of the land.
